Linda majored in Art at the University of Utah. She has taken watercolor courses in Mallorca with Martin Aubert, a well known English Watercolorist and has studied with Andrew Pinder an artist and illustrator. She's taken a Pure Watercolor course with Allison Muster in England and has also taken a Mixed Media Course at the St. Martins University in London and more recently has been in a workshop using oils with Ignacio Sierra in Palma.
Her work, deservedly achieved recognition by winning the St. Cuthbert’s Paper Mill Watercolour Award in the Society of Amateur Artists Competition at the Westminster Gallery, London, in 1994, and the Angela Stone Award at the Chelsea Annual Competition, in 1996. In Mallorca, she has enjoyed several successful exhibitions and won local recognition, being selected to show at annual Mallorquin exhibits.

Linda is from Utah, U.S.A. where the dry climate and Rocky Mountains offer a very different landscape and lifestyle to the one which fascinates her in Mallorca, with its small quaint villages, the tiny shops and the lush green of the countryside. The light in Mallorca, in particular the pink evening light,, never fails to impress and offer inspiration.
