When Linda first came to Mallorca 35 years ago she was fascinated by the simple charm of its villages and rural landscapes. "My paintings speak more about light than anything. I look always for that strong, sometimes harsh sunlight juxtaposed with strong color and shadow for emphasis. This is not a conscious search, it is simply what attracts me, shocks me, makes me catch my breath and look again . . . and I want to put it on paper. It is my way to show you what I see. "
